FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I speak to you by phone or video chat to get more information before I join?

Yes we offer a complimentary consultation to see if we are the right fit to help you and if we aren't, we'll happily point you in the right direction to meet your needs!

  • How long does it take to get my plan after I join?

1-3 business days - because every single client plan is built from scratch, it can take a few days to have everything done and loaded. We typically try to start clients on their programs the following Monday of sign up.

  • Will my plan include nutrition counseling or a meal plan?

Yes! We believe there are three core components to your long term fitness plan.

    1. Strength training
    2. Sustainable Nutrition
    3. Daily Habits

Key word being sustainable. We begin by teaching you about portion sizing, the 3 macro nutrients and how they affect body composition, and where to get those 3 macro nutrients in your food choices.

  • What if I travel often?

Simply Fitness Coaching is ideal for people that travel or take vacation. We can develop full bodyweight plans or build based on equipment you have available. The same accountability, workout tracking and coaching is all mobile and travels with you. Basically, your coach will be there to guide and motivate even if you are out of the country or on the move.

  • Can couples or families join together?

YES! Studies have shown that individuals with workout partners are more likely to adhere to their fitness goals compared to those who go it alone. Because of this, we highly encourage spouses and family members to join to help build a better support system around our clients. It is so important that we offer 50% off for anyone within the same household as a Simply Fit client.

  • What if I have an injury?

Depending on the injury type and healing stage, your coach can devise plans that minimize or eliminate stress on the injured area. We can also craft corrective exercise strategies to enhance mobility, stabilize joints, strengthen connective tissues, and increase flexibility. Our most commonly worked with injuries/pain areas are:

    • Low back
    • Knee
    • Shoulder
    • Neck
    • Feet/Plantar Fasciitis

However, it's important to note that no corrective exercise or post-rehabilitation plan provided by a Simply Fitness coach is designed to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition or mechanical misalignment. Within our professional capacity, we work with you to refine a progressive plan aimed at reducing overactive muscles, encouraging underactive muscle engagement, promoting biomechanical efficiency, and incorporating compound movements to improve overall functionality.

  • Do you work with youth athletes?

Absolutely! We are passionate about working with youth athletes, accepting individuals aged 11 and older. Our main goal is to foster a genuine enjoyment of strength training, helping nurture a positive mindset on exercise and a foundational understanding of nutrition. The strength training regimen centers on General Physical Preparedness (GPP) twice weekly, establishing motor patterns that pave the way for more complex exercises in the future. The speed and agility curriculum is divided into an acceleration-focused session and a day dedicated to lateral change of direction. For nutrition, we encourage our young athletes to monitor their protein consumption to aid recovery post-strength training sessions.
